WIKING Luma 3 has wide side windows, so the attractive flames can be viewed from the sides as well. WIKING Luma 4 comes standard with smooth steel sides, but is also available with tiles or soapstone as a decorative and exclusive cladding for the stove.
- WIKING® Automatic™
In a WIKING wood-burning stove, the regulation of air during lighting and re-stoking is managed automatically through the WIKING Automatic device.
A heat-sensitive bimetallic spring expands or contracts depending on the temperature in the wood-burning stove. When lighting the fire, the damper will be open to ensure that the flames are supplied with the correct amount of air to get the fire started. The following quick rise in temperature will automatically cause the damper to close, thus ensuring clean and efficient combustion. When the fire starts to die out, the damper opens automatically again to allow for new firewood to be added or to let the fire die out.
WIKING Automatic offers many advantages:
- Better comfort
- Easier lighting
- Clean and efficient combustion
- Minor impact on the environment
- Cast iron and sheet iron
Essentially, a WIKING stove is a convection stove made of sheet iron. The advantage of a convection stove is that it heats up and distributes the air quickly in the room.
The new WIKING series has an extra solid top plate and a robust cast iron door. This ensures outstanding stability during use and combines the smooth sheet iron with the somewhat more rustic cast iron.
WIKING Miro also has a solid and strong cast iron bottom in the combustion chamber.
- Unique Closing System
A closely-fitting door and simple, easy operation can be obtained with the help of the unique locking system. Just pull the handle lightly to open. When the door is closed, the locking hooks engage and pull the door shut.
- Combustion Air System
No oxygen, no fire, It’s that simple. That is why a constant flow of air to the wood-burning stove is needed to create clean and effective combustion in your new HWAM.
Today’s homes must be both energy efficient and environmentally friendly, and they are therefore very well-insulated. This makes good sense, but it can be a problem when it comes to your wood-burning stove having a sufficient amount of air – which is important for building a proper fire.
The solution lies in a combustion air system, which ensures a constant flow of air to the wood-burning stove. HWAM’s combustion air system creates air circulation that is almost completely impermeable.
The combustion air system is particularly suitable for new and well-insulated homes. The stove automatically sucks in fresh air from the outside and uses this air during combustion, leaving combustion independent of the air in the room.
